This structural design can maximize the satisfaction of customers’ requirements for sightseeing experience and aesthetics. For instance, when both sides require viewing, this structure allows the entire beam frame to be positioned on the non-viewing side, thus avoiding obstruction of the viewing side (i.e., the glass cabin walls). It includes side backpack structure and back backpack structure.

For identical shaft dimensions, our designs achieve the largest possible viewing area. For example, for the rear wall panoramic elevator car, we can design a wider car width than other manufacturers. And we can reduce the width of the counterweight frame and move it closer to the door to enhance the viewing experience.
Design and Manufacturing of Panoramic Elevator Shafts
We can provide steel structure shafts and aluminum alloy shafts for panoramic elevators, which we design and manufacture ourselves. Based on customers’ requirements for overall aesthetics, cost, and other factors, we offer different choices such as square tube type, steel plate bending type, I-beam type, etc. There are two types of connection methods: welding type and bolt connection type. Welding type meets customers’ cost requirements, while bolt connection type is easy and fast to install. The shaft glass is also provided together and will be tested for installation before shipment.

Our standard configuration uses 5+5mm transparent laminated glass, offering excellent strength. We can also provide 6+6mm glass.
First, all shipments are securely packed in reinforced wooden crates, preventing breakage without external impact. If accidental breakage occurs during installation, we generally recommend customers procure and fabricate a replacement locally.
No, the thickness of the glass is 10-12mm, and the connection between our glass and the stainless steel frame is very good, fully sealed. So there won’t be any noise and the panoramic elevator runs smoothly.
We usually recommend local fabrication. However, if the client requests us to provide the shaft as well, we can certainly accommodate that.
