Surface Treatment Process
Our moving walkway utilize either hot-dip galvanizing or high-corrosion-resistant primer treatment. After rust removal, the entire truss or components are immersed in molten zinc at approximately 500°C. This causes a reaction between the steel substrate and the molten zinc, forming a metallurgical bond layer. This layer consists of an outer layer of pure zinc followed by an inner layer of iron-zinc alloy, resulting in exceptional weather resistance. For your outdoor projects, hot-dip galvanizing ensures the truss remains rust-free for 20-30 years under sun and rain exposure, significantly reducing corrosion maintenance costs throughout its entire life-cycle.
